Will Bowen joined NAVIX in 2013 as an Analyst. He is responsible for assisting Consultants as they work with their clients through the NAVIX process. Before joining NAVIX, Will worked for a Wealth Management firm in Atlanta with approximately $1 billion in assets. As a lead Associate for 60 clients, he provided investment advice, as well as construction and implementation of personal financial plans. Will also has previous experience in various roles in the regional banking sector.
Will graduated from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business in 2002 with a degree in Finance. In 2010, he earned his MBA from Georgia State University with a concentration in Personal Finance and obtained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2011.
Will, a native of Dalton, GA, resides in Decatur with his wife Kathleen and children, William and Ollie. They are members of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. In his spare time, Will enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, attending University of Georgia football and basketball games, as well as reading books on a wide variety of subjects.
As a Consultant Advocate, Andrew supports the consultants in building their referral networks while providing essential business development and product support. He is also responsible for coordinating and facilitating consultant onboarding and training.
Before starting his coaching practice in 2015, Andrew led various business development, sales, and marketing teams across various industries. In 2023, he completed the Professional Coach Training Program through Coach U, marking the beginning of his credentialing process with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). In addition to providing one-to-one coaching for business owners and sales leaders, he teaches, runs workshops, and facilitates leadership groups.
A Colorado native, Andrew currently lives near Boulder with his wife and two rescue dogs. After a 21-year detour in Chicago following college, where he first launched his career in sales, he’s happy to be back near the Rocky Mountains, enjoying camping and hiking. His other interests include music, culinary arts, and hosting events.
Sandra Fisher serves as the Outbound Marketing Specialist for the NAVIX team. In this role, Sandra helps business owners to learn more about how NAVIX’s unique process can help them achieve their exit objectives.
Prior to NAVIX, Sandra has worked throughout the years in client-facing positions as a real estate specialist covering multiple markets. She recently moved back to the Atlanta area after living ten years in Ridgefield, Connecticut, and four years in Charleston, South Carolina. She currently lives in Marietta, Georgia, with her husband, and they have two grown children.
Sandra is a member of Roswell United Methodist in Roswell, Georgia. She enjoys reading, playing tennis, traveling, and volunteering in various capacities for non-profit organizations.
Alison began her career with NAVIX by providing operational support and coordinating client services. Since joining NAVIX, her roles and responsibilities have continued to evolve. In her current role as Director of Operations, Alison optimizes organizational efficiency, leads change management initiatives, and aligns operational processes with NAVIX’s overarching business goals.
Alison graduated from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Arts in the Study of Women and Gender. While pursuing her degree, she also attended the Danish Institute for Study Abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark and later worked at a prominent national hotline in Washington, D.C., where she gained valuable experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
Alison grew up in the northern suburbs of metro Atlanta and currently lives in the city with her partner. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, equitation, exploring Atlanta’s vibrant arts and culture scene, and spending time with friends and family.
Stephen Griner has spent his entire career in the financial services industry working with owners of privately held companies in the areas of exit planning and investment management. He has consulted with companies from startup to sale, from a variety of industries. His diverse experience includes focusing on business financial management, operations, leadership development, and investment policy. Today, as President and Chief Operating Officer of NAVIX, Stephen is responsible for overseeing all areas of the company’s operations.
In 2010, Stephen earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation; the most respected and recognized investment designation in the world. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Atlanta Society of Financial and Investment Professionals. Stephen is a cum laude graduate of University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Since 2008, has been a member of Vistage, an invitation-only executive development and peer advisory organization.
Stephen is originally from Athens, Georgia, as is his wife Angela. They now reside in Brookhaven, Georgia and are raising twin boys.
Michael joined NAVIX as an advisor in 2010, specializing in exit planning for owners of closely-held businesses, tax planning, estate planning, retirement plans, and investment planning. Michael today helps lead the exit planning practice. In 2014, Michael became an equity owner. Prior to joining NAVIX, Michael spent over ten years in the public accounting and wealth management arena. Michael worked with a Big Four accounting firm and a regional accounting firm in Atlanta where he gained experience in financial audits of closely held businesses, ERISA benefit plan audits, and taxes. Next, Michael moved into the wealth management and financial planning arena where he worked with individuals on all of their comprehensive financial counseling needs.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business where he received his Masters of Accountancy (MACC). He has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations.
Michael has lived in Atlanta nearly all of his life. He and his wife, Sloane, have two younger boys, John Wilson and Clayton. They currently live in Sandy Springs and are members of First Baptist Church of Roswell. He recently trained and completed a Tough Mudder challenge, an endurance obstacle course. In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his boys and coaching their baseball and flag football teams, watching UGA football games, and playing golf.
Within NAVIX, Trey’s efforts focus on assisting consultants with business development, and he serves as a sales catalyst for the NAVIX team of independent consultants.
Trey has spent his entire career working with closely held businesses to assist the owners with their needs. He specializes in working with closely held business owners to plan for their business exit which includes addressing their financial, legal, operational, managerial and personal readiness for an eventual ownership transfer or sale. Trey worked for more than nine years as a trust officer within the banking industry identifying and implementing solutions for clients including: compensation and deferred compensation strategies, qualified retirement plans, and proprietary investment management strategies. At the inception of his career, Trey worked for four years with the many of the same principals at a predecessor organization, where they created and designed succession strategies for privately held and family owned businesses. Throughout his career he has assisted companies ranging from startup to several billion dollars in revenue.
Trey is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. In 2002, he earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
Trey has lived in Atlanta most of his life. He and his wife, Mandy, have three children, Russ, Cate, and Mary Ellen. They currently reside in Brookhaven and are members of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. In his spare time, Trey enjoys time with his family, volunteers at industry and community groups, coaches youth sports, and attends University of Georgia football games. He appreciates a challenge and has participated in endurance sports ranging from Ironman triathlons and long distance mountain bike races to multi-day running and cycling events.
In addition to his financial responsibilities, Mr. Rowen leads development of the company’s products and methodology. He also supports the growing network of NAVIX consultants by helping them obtain and service exit planning clients. Prior to NAVIX, Mr. Rowen was an investment banker at VRA Partners, where he managed mergers and acquisitions for middle market technology and industrial companies. It was in this capacity that he gained an appreciation for the positive impact that a well-constructed exit plan can have on business owners and their families.
Prior to VRA, Mr. Rowen spent eight years at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, a leading regional investment bank, where he earned recognition from both the Wall Street Journal and Institutional Investor Magazine for his work in the supply chain and technology sectors. Earlier in his career Mr. Rowen spent nine years as a management consultant, for a variety of industry leaders, including Coca-Cola, Motorola, Henkel AG and Celanese Corp. Mr. Rowen is also a founder of RepairPal, a venture capital backed company that has become the leading web provider of independent auto repair estimates, with more than one million monthly unique visitors. Mr. Rowen earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and his Master’s in ME from Georgia Tech. Mr. Rowen also studied towards a Ph.D. in Marketing at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. Chris and his wife, Nancy, whom he met during his undergraduate studies, are enjoying life after raising their two children, Thomas and Rebecca. During his free time, Chris enjoys the outdoors while cycling or playing golf. When he cannot be outside, Chris can usually be found playing guitar, or building something in his workshop.
Meisha joined NAVIX in November 2023 as a Corporate Accountant. In this role, Meisha focuses on managing financial records while ensuring the company’s financial transactions are accurate and compliant with accounting standards and regulations.
Prior to joining NAVIX, Meisha enjoyed the hustle and bustle of New York City, where she began her career. During this time, she developed her finance and accounting skills in the food industry and service industry. As an Accounting Manager for several clients, she provided accounting advice and implemented business processes to help her clients’ businesses run with accuracy.
Meisha graduated from Rider University in New Jersey with a Bachelor of Business Administration
in Accounting. Meisha had lived in New Jersey for most of her life before moving to Atlanta in 2021. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and cheering on the Miami Heat.
Lauren joined NAVIX in 2022 as an Analyst, assisting Consultants as they work with their clients through the NAVIX process. Before taking some time away from the workforce to raise her children, Lauren worked for Ally Financial in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a finance manager in Global Functions, she supported the Chief Risk and Compliance Officers, as well as their teams, by overseeing all finance needs. Lauren also has previous finance experience supporting marketing and finance departments in the consumer goods sector with Newell Rubbermaid.
Lauren graduated from the University of Pittsburgh’s College of Business Administration in 2006 with a degree in Accounting. After graduation, she moved to Charlotte but currently resides in the Wilmington area. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family at the beach, on the boat, or hiking a new trail. If she isn’t outdoors, she’s likely working on a home improvement project.
